    Apparently good architecture is a dying art form. Some might say that it is dead in the water.

    I agree. Not a very attractive building. Is’nt there an arts and design committee ?

    @Deborah An arts and design committee? No. A couple areas in the city have an Architectural Review Board, but not this street.

    I don’t think it’s an ugly building at all. It looks like most newer residental buildings in the area. I don’t care so much about design at this location as I do density.

    This is far from a bad design. What it is is a somewhat tired material palette and facade treatment. The massing works quite well and the pool deck will be a great amenity (hope it gets good sun though). I’d love to see the envelope pushed here, but I can’t complain about a quality infill project like this.

    Option “C” is the only way to go for the Riverwalk.
