Living in the city that is the birthplace of Harley-Davidson, the rumble of motorcycles is heard all over town. Thousands more of these motorcyclists from around the country rode home to Milwaukee for the Harley-Davidson World Dealers Annual Conference happening this weekend.

As final preparations are completed for the Milwaukee Rally, beginning Aug. 30, dealership owners and staff from more than 60 countries unite here to celebrate their brand, their lifestyle, and what’s to come for Harley in 2013.

Milwaukee-Harley hosted a party Wednesday night to kick off the weekend festivities, where the parking lot was filled with Harleys. The evening event included a Harley Angels bikini bike wash, Division BMX stunt show, burn out pit, and mud wrestling competition. The band Shakedown played for the large gathering and food and drinks were available from Tally Ho, Madame Bells and Bottoms Up Tavern. There was also a special stunt show with JBX Motorcycle, one of the very few motorcyclists performing stunts on a Harley-Davidson Sportster. Those is attendance could also get a sneak peak at Ink 101 Tattoo Lounge, the first tattoo lounge in a Harley-Davidson dealership, which will open at the end of September.

The 2012 Milwaukee Rally will be held Aug. 30 – Sept. 2, marking the official kickoff of the company’s year-long countdown to its 110th anniversary year. Labor Day weekend 2013 will be quite the celebration in Milwaukee and all over the world.
