Interesting! I always thought that house had been turned into condos… it’s got very odd windows.
Very interesting article, Jeramey. I would have thought that neighborhood would score a bit higher on walkability as well. It’s not that far from Oakland and all the Shorewood shops either.
I like your profile. While I agree that our neighborhood needs more retail (Downer and Kenwood please), walking to the main Downer area is easy and we do it all the time. For some reason we never walk to Shorewood which is just as close…
I told Chris Abele once at Alterra that I have bottle rockets trained on Hupy’s house and that all he has to do give me the signal to fire! Michael Hupy is a very bad neighbor.
