Friday Photos this week features photography of three Lower East Side construction projects. The first project pictured is the construction of an additional floor at Casablanca, 728 E. Brady Street. The next project is Wangard Partners’ 1910 on Water apartment building, located near the intersection of Water St and Humboldt Dr. The final project pictured is Mandel Group’s Portrait and Silhouette apartment buildings, which represent the second phase of the development of The North End.

    I see The North End progress everyday as I work at Schlitz Park, and I’ve been wondering for a bit now…are the two new buildings connected? I was trying to see where one ended and the other started and they didn’t appear to at all.
