The Great Lakes Water Wars

Do you like cities and public policy? Can you read a book in a month? If you can answer yes to both questions, you should join us for a meeting of the Urban Milwaukee Book Club. This month’s book is Peter Annin’s The Great Lakes Water Wars, which gives a history of water policy and its impacts in the Great Lakes Basin.

You can purchase the book on Amazon or at your favorite local bookstore. The Milwaukee Public Library also has a few copies.

We will meet up for discussion and drinks on March 6th, 2012 at My Office (763 N. Milwaukee St.) from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

There is also a Facebook event you can RSVP with.

Apologies for the delay on getting our next event out, and a tip of the hat to Marty Weigel for the suggestion.

I’m very interested in this book club so wish to be informed of future offerings. However, I will not be able to attend the March 6 meeting as I will be out of town. This is a great idea and something I’ve been looking for.

@Jeannette Great! we’ll let you know of the next book and date..
