Today is the day for six Wisconsin Republican senators facing recall elections, and the eyes of the entire nation are upon us. Three Democratic senators have also been recalled, with Dave Hansen having re-secured his seat on July 19. Jim Holperin and Robert Wirch face the electorate one week from today, on August 16.

The Republican Senators include Robert Cowles, Sheila Harsdorf, Randy Hopper, Dan Kapanke, and Luther Olsen.

In the Milwaukee area, Sen. Alberta Darling (R) faces Rep. Sandy Pasch (D) in a bid to win the Senate District 8 seat.
