Community & Economic Development Committee Meeting

The Community and Economic Development Committee hears matters relating to community development, block grants, job development, business improvement districts, city public relations, industrial land banks and revenue bonds, emerging business enterprises, recreation, cultural arts and the library system.

The Community and Economic Development Committee meetings start at 9:00 a.m. and are held in the Room 301-B, City Hall, unless otherwise noted.

    the economic development commision should set up a funding mechanism to route money away from mmsd and into a program to replace/repair residential / commercial sewer laterals that are leaking,
    Assuming that the mayor’ committee is correct in hiring saturation dye testing vs resolving known leaking laterals is not getting any closer to the solution any sooner.
    let mmsd opperate the deep tunnel until all the sewers are seperated and the tunnel can be filled in.
    contact any plumber or drain co. for a list of properties with known leakers. Brian Bohmann master Plumber #8325
