The four be-suited comedians who comprise the Gentlemen’s Hour — (left to right) Patrick Schmitz, Mike Kauth, Tyler Kroll and Johnny Beehner (squatting) used to be a sketch comedy troupe called Socially Awkward. Then they grew up! Three of the four gentlemen talk to Mark Metcalf about the big difference between sketch and stand-up, their collaborative writing process, comedic outlook, and how life is for Mike, who just moved to Los Angeles.

Gentlemen’s Hour performs this Friday, Jan. 15, at Comedy Sportz. The show starts at 10 p.m., but you can get warmed up now with this podcast!
