Although I rarely use the service, I prefer it over Amtrak for the cost and WIFI feature and the elimination of the late night route is disappointing.

After several debacles last year I haven't used them since, and have ignored all their emails. The perks kept getting better, but their reliabilty went from tolerable to inexcusable. If it was like, "hey buddy, what do you want for a dollar?" it was one thing, but I was always connecting in Chicago to somewhere else and it began to fail everytime, and not on the cheap either. I moved to Milwaukee because it was still connected to Indianapolis via Megabus, and now I had to find a more expensive transportation option to fill that gap. Without Zipcar I would have been screwed.

I'm surprised there's not a weekend late nighter... a midnight bus might get some riders, or even a midnight train during the summer festival season, though I guess at that hour you might as well grab a hotel.

Have you used it since they added text message alerts?

I've had my fair share of schedule issues with Megabus pre-text alerts, but none since. I've also never had an on-time issue on the Milwaukee to Chicago route. A couple not fun times on other routes though.

What difference does it make if Megabust has a schedule? They can't keep one anyhow. - signed, their former biggest fan
