    Hi,
I would like to comment on the Favre story “Favre Says He Is Considering Playing Again,” specifically the writer’s negative comments about Favre, the man who has brought over 10 years of blissful sports to Wisconsin. I thought the author was out of touch, or at least not seeing the bigger picture. For the media to now slander him, after they have put him on this pedestal in the first place, is unnerving. It is very easy to write about how his actions, or inactions, are unethical, but seriously, is this what the TCD author should be focusing on??

Wow, great promotion idea. And I love that Transfer pizza. Many (all?) of the TCD stories don’t permit comments so does this count?

Ted, you are the ticket master. Nice point… try to find an article that does.

    Thanks!

This is a great idea. Never been to Transfer Pizza before.

I, too, tried commenting on other stories but it said comments were turned off.

It is a great promotion. I’ve seen this done for giving money to charity a couple of times on blogs and they’ve all worked well. This is the first time I’ve seen it on as free tickets to anything though—or a cross promotion that requires you to visit another destination to pick them up. Nice virtual world to real world integration!

As an FYI, you can also get free tix to the festival if you become a MAM member (or renew) that day.

Great idea! I’ve made a couple comments but have not received a confirmation email. Are confirmation emails sent after a certain time period following making a comment?

I’ve totally been meaning to go to Transfer. Haven’t yet. Thought about it when I drove by last night. This could be the perfect excuse!

Great story on the need for Type O blood. Giving blood is an easy thing to forget to do and we obviously need the reminder. I’ll be dropping by this week.

I hope I really get to go to the Festival of Arts. I’ve lived here all my life and haven’t experienced half of all the great stuff Milwaukee has to offer yet. This is a great promotion!

I think this is a great idea to give the people of milwaukee an oppertunity to explore the city for free! More offers like this should be offered throughout the city. Thank you so much.

This is great! Was not familiar w/ this site and now have it on my
Home page on my Iphone. I agree that cross promoting is a great
marketing tool and what a better place to pick up tickets than
Transfer. Go for brunch on Saturday and order their Egg Pizza. It
    is fabulous!

Transfer Pizza is great as is the Lakefront Festival of the Arts.

What a great opportunity! I had not heard about the Festival of the Arts until a friend keyed me in on this promotion. Now I’m definitely going! I may need to pick up a pizza while I’m grabbing my tickets. 🙂
